2004

2004 started in karting, spent the year club racing in the Yamaha Rookie class at SLKA in Pevely MO. Finished 8 th in the Championship. Was very familiar with the wrecker!

 

2005

Spent 2005 racing in the TAG Cadet class and translated his aggressive style into a dominate season (4 wins in 9 SLKA races), Finished 1 st in the SLKA Championship, 3 rd in the MO State Championship and 3 rd in the Route 66 Championship.

 

2006

In 2006 Grant finished 11 th and 9 th in his first ever Stars of Karting cadet race, and regularly had pace to run up front in his subsequent races, but the maturity to compete consistently at this level had not arrived, until…
